The RSV Würges is a football club founded in 1920 from the Würges district of the city of Bad Camberg .
history
In addition to the longstanding membership in the Oberliga Hessen, the club's greatest successes were winning the Hessen Cup twice in 1980 and 1987. As a result, Würges took part in the DFB Cup . In 1980 the RSV reached the third round after victories against FC Ottering and an away win at OSC Bremerhaven, in which they lost to VfL Osnabrück . In 1987 they were eliminated in the first round against Fortuna Düsseldorf . After the voluntary withdrawal from the association league due to the insolvency of an investor, they played in the eight-class district league from 2012 to 2017.
