Radio Televizija Bijeljina (RTV BN) is a Bosnian radio and television broadcaster based in Bijeljina , Bosnia and Herzegovina . The station was founded in 1998 and is now one of the most popular and well-known stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
RTV BN offers a 24-hour channel with news, politics and entertainment programs in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian . The station has over 120 employees with news correspondents in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgrade , London , Vienna and other cities.
BN TV and Radio BN can be received via satellite in Europe, North America (USA and Canada), Australia and New Zealand. Since 2006, RTV BN can also be received over the Internet using the official website.
For the tenth anniversary in 2008, the station moved into a new building.
In 2009, RTV BN founded the music label and the music channel of the same name, BN Music , which broadcasts 24 hours of music.
In January 2010, the broadcasting of the station was interrupted for two hours because police officers occupied the main building in Bijeljina. The station was accused of tax evasion, which is why the building was searched by the officials. According to RTV BN, this would have had political reasons, as the television station had expressed criticism of the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and his government.
