The RWE Energy AG was an intermediate holding (without direct business with end customers) in RWE Corporation. From 2003 to 2009, this company coordinated activities relating to the sale of electricity, gas and water in the regions, as well as the operation of the associated networks. The company's headquarters were in Dortmund.
history
RWE Energy was created during the restructuring of the RWE Group in October 2003. The companies RWE Plus (sales), RWE Net (networks) and RWE Gas (gas networks and sales) were essentially combined or reorganized into subsidiaries .
