Raúl Bernao
Raúl Emilio Bernao (born November 4, 1941 in Avellaneda , † December 26, 2007 ) was an Argentine football player .
Bernao was part of the first team of Club Atlético Independiente from 1961 . With the club from Avellaneda he was Argentine champion in 1963; in the following two years he won the Copa Libertadores with Independiente . Further titles followed in 1967 with winning the Campeonato Nacional and 1970 with the victory in the Torneo Metropolitano .
In 1971, Bernao joined the Colombian club Deportivo Cali . In 1974 he returned to Argentina, but played only a few games for Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata before ending his career in the same year.
1967 Bernao made his debut in the Argentine national team , for which he played 15 appearances until 1970 and scored four goals.
