Raúl García (boxer)
Raúl García Hirales (* 10. September 1982 in La Paz , Mexico ) is a Mexican boxer in the straw weight . He is the twin brother of boxer Ramón García Hirales .
Professional career
In 2004 he started his professional career successfully. On June 14, 2008 he boxed against Florante Condes for the IBF world championship and won on points. He lost this belt in his fifth title defense in March 2010 to Nkosinathi Joyi .
At the end of October 2010 he beat Luis de la Rosa and won the WBO interim title. In March of the following year he was named WBO world champion without a fight, but lost the belt in the same year in his first title defense on August 27 against Moises Fuentes by a split judge's decision.
