The Swedish publishing house Rabén & Sjögren was founded in 1941 by Hans Rabén and Carl-Olof Sjögren and its program focused on books for children and young people. Since 1998 he has been part of the PA Norstedt och Söner publishing group.
Rabén & Sjögren achieved great success in particular as the publisher of Astrid Lindgren 's children's books . In the 1950s the author worked as an editor for children's books in the publishing house. There she met the illustrator Ilon Wikland in 1953 , with whom she subsequently worked successfully for decades.
Other authors of the publishing house were for example Enid Blyton and Jostein Gaarder .
