Rabbinate Hégenheim

The rabbinate of Hégenheim in Hégenheim , a French community in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace , existed from 1772 to 1910. The rabbinate had belonged to the Consistoire Wintzenheim or Colmar since 1808 . In 1907 the rabbinical seat was moved to Saint-Louis .

The rabbinate was responsible for the surrounding Jewish communities and from 1805 to 1866 also for the Jewish community of Basel and some other Swiss towns.
