society

Sitch began her professional career in 2006 with the Swedish club Bälinge IF , before playing for the lower class teams Chicago Gaels and FC Indiana in the W-League for the next two years . For the inaugural season of the WPS , she joined Sky Blue FC and then spent autumn 2009 with the Australian team Melbourne Victory . For the 2010 season, Sitch returned to the WPS and joined the Chicago Red Stars . In early 2011, after the Red Stars withdrew from the WPS, she briefly switched to the Western New York Flash , but ultimately played the season in the squad of league rivals Atlanta Beat . After Sitch had only come to two season appearances in Atlanta, she returned to Chicago in early 2012 and once again joined the Red Stars, who now competed in the WPSL elite . In the same year she also played for a few months with the Swedish second division club Hammarby IF and led the team as captain to promotion to Damallsvenskan .

In early 2013, Sitch was hired by Chicago's newly established NWSL franchise . She made her league debut on April 27, 2013 against Portland Thorns FC , her first goal in the NWSL she scored on July 28 of the same year, also against Portland. On July 31, 2014, she was released from her franchise and announced her retirement at the end of March 2015.
