Werner Frohnapfel (born June 12, 1957 ) is a former football player in the 2nd Bundesliga . He initially worked for KSV Hessen Kassel as a striker and later as a midfielder from 1980 to 1983 and played 61 second division and 4 cup games during that time.
Life
In the first years of his life, Frohnapfel lived in the later district of Weyhers in the Ebersburg community . In the local TSV Weyhers-Ebersberg his football career began; then moved to TSV Künzell . 1978/79 Frohnapfel played a season for the national division SC Borussia Fulda . From there he moved to the upper division KSV Hessen Kassel, and in the same season he made promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with the club. As a striker, he himself scored 12 goals in 31 games.
In the 1980/81 season , during the last season, which was played in the Northern and Southern leagues, the club reached 4th place in the table and was thus able to stay in the 2nd division in the following season. Frohnapfel scored 4 goals in 29 games. In the following season , now Frohnapfel moved to midfield players, the club only reached 8th place in the table, with Frohnapfel scoring 3 goals in 23 games. Although the club reached 4th place in the following season , Frohnapfel only played nine times and could not score a goal.
In 1983/84 Frohnapfel played for a year at the Oberliga club VfB Schrecksbach . From 1997 to 2008 he acted as a coach increasingly for district league clubs.
