Rabia Djelti (2017)

Rabia Djelti ( Arabic ربيعة جلطي, DMG Rabīʿa Ǧalṭī ; born on August 5, 1964 in Algiers or 1954 in Bouanani) is an Algerian author who writes in Arabic and French . In addition to her own literary work, she teaches literature at the University of Algiers .

life and work

Rabia Djelti studied modern literature of the Maghreb and received a doctorate in this subject . She also taught this subject at the University of Oran . Her lyrics are considered to have a strong rhythm. She performed at several international poetry festivals in the Arab and European countries. In addition to her writing activities, Rabia Djelti also worked for Algerian television , for which she produced cultural and women's programs.
