The Rabobank Amersfoort Jazz is a music festival; which has been held annually on the second weekend (four days) in May in the old town of Amersfoort since 1979 .

Over 100,000 visitors come every year. There are eight open-air stages spread across the old town. In addition to jazz , other styles of music such as world music , hip-hop and rap are also presented. Some of the concerts can be attended with free admission.

In 2013, Madeline Bell with the Concertgebouw Jazz Orchestra and the Dutch Youth Jazz Orchestra under Eric Vloeimans , the Thai saxophonist Koh Mr. Saxman , the Nordanians with Jörg Brinkmann , Maarten Ornstein and Fraser Fifield , Dr. Lonnie Smith and Ruud Jacobs .

Alexander Beets (2012) is in charge of the organizing foundation of the jazz festival. The additional designation in the name comes from the sponsor Rabobank .

A Gateway to Global Jazz conference has also been taking place since 2011 . The festival is intended to be a forum for Dutch jazz and provide space for improvisation and crossover . In 2009 the Festival de Muzen for experimental music was integrated and in 2012 the Global Village Festival for world music.
