Rachel Lynne Mercik (born December 16, 1991 ) is an American football player .
Career
society
During her studies at the University of California, Berkeley Mercik played from 2010 to 2013 at the university team of California Golden Bears and ran parallel to it in 2013 for the W-League - Franchise of the Seattle Sounders Women on. For the 2014 season, she first switched to league competitor Bay Area Breeze and from there to Bundesliga club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in early September . There she celebrated her Bundesliga debut on September 7, 2014 (2nd match day) in the away game against SGS Essen by substituting for Asano Nagasato . For the 2016 season, Mercik joined the Swedish first division club Vittsjö GIK .
National team
Mercik was in the (expanded) squad of the US U-17 and U-20 national teams from 2007 .
