Radoslav Zapletal
Radoslav Zapletal (born May 15, 1937 in Zlín ; † May 30, 2010 ) was a Czech violinist and composer.
Zapletal studied violin at the Brno Conservatory until 1957 and at the Janáček Music Academy until 1964 . He was then a member of the Brno Radio Folk Music Orchestra for thirty years, for which he wrote more than 500 arrangements of Czech folk music. From 1993 he played in the Opera Orchestra of the National Theater in Brno. During this time he took private composition lessons with Arnošt Parsch at the Brno Music Academy and began to write original works in the field of vocal and chamber music.
