Radulf of Caen

Radulf von Caen (Latin: Radulfus Cadomensis , French: Raoul de Caen , * around 1080 in Caen , † around 1120) was a Norman knight and chronicler.

In 1107 he joined the army of the Norman crusader prince Bohemond of Taranto and took part in his unsuccessful invasion of Byzantine Greece. In 1108 he went to the Holy Land , where he entered the service of the regent Tankred in Bohemond's principality Antioch . After Tankred died at the end of 1112, he wrote the important chronicle Gesta Tancredi In Expeditione Hierosolymitana about his deeds .
