Radwan Yasser (born April 22, 1972 in Ad-Daqahliyya ) is a former Egyptian football player .

Yasser moved in the summer of 1996 from Egyptian club Baladia Mahala to the Bundesliga for FC Hansa Rostock . He stayed with the Hanseatic League for six years, played a total of 133 Bundesliga games and scored five goals. His premier in the Bundesliga was on the fourth day of the 1996/97 season . Coach Frank Pagelsdorf replaced him in the 69th minute of the away game in Cologne . He scored his first goal two game days later, in a 2-0 away win against Fortuna Düsseldorf . In the 1998/99 season , Yasser had a secure regular place and made 33 Bundesliga appearances and was only missing one game due to a yellow card suspension.
In the DFB Cup , Yasser appeared a total of seven times and scored one goal. His greatest success here was reaching the semi-finals in the 1999/2000 season .
In the third round of the 1998 UEFA Intertoto Cup , Yasser came to two international appearances against the Hungarian club Debreceni Vasutas SC . After a 1: 1 in the first leg, he lost the second leg in the Ostseestadion with 1: 2 with Hansa and was eliminated from the competition.
After six years in Rostock, Yasser turned down another contract offer from the club in 2002 and went back to his home country to al Ahly Cairo . After two seasons with Al-Ahly, with which he won the national cup and super cup in 2003, he played another season at his former club Baladia Mahala and then ended his career.
National team
Yasser played a total of 58 times for the Egyptian national team . He scored 15 goals.
He participated in the African Championships in 1996 , 1998 , 2000 and 2002 . In 1998 he won the title with Egypt. He was in the squad in all six games and scored a goal in the first round match against Zambia to make it 4-0. In the quarter-finals against Ivory Coast he also converted a penalty in a penalty shoot-out. Two years later he came to two preliminary round games and scored again against Zambia. In the quarterfinals he was eliminated with the team against Tunisia . In 2002 he failed again with Egypt in the quarterfinals. Yasser played all of the games.
