Rafael Fernandes Alarçón (born February 5, 1977 in São Paulo ) is a former Brazilian squash player .

Career

Rafael Alarçón began his professional career in the 1998 season, winning 20 titles on the PSA World Tour . He reached his highest ranking in the world rankings with position 36 in September 2010. At the Pan American Games , he won two medals. With the Brazilian team he won the silver medal at the 2003 games in Santo Domingo and the bronze medal in Rio de Janeiro in 2007 . At the South American Games 2010 in Medellín he won the individual and team silver medal, and he won bronze in mixed. He played his last game at the 2013 World Cup when he was eliminated in the first round of qualifying. Subsequently, Rafael Alarçón ended his career.
