Rafael de Balbín Lucas

Rafael de Balbín Lucas (born March 5, 1910 in Alcañices , † January 27, 1978 in Madrid ) was a Spanish Romanist and Hispanist .

life and work

Balbín Lucas completed a law degree in Valencia , then a degree in literature in Saragossa (1935). He received his doctorate in Madrid in 1942 and was professor in Oviedo from 1943 to 1948 , then in Madrid until his death .
