At the end of February 2015, he boxed in the Italian region of Lombardy against the 27-year-old standard boom from Denmark Kasper Bruun, who had previously lost only one of 22 fights. This fight was scheduled for 12 rounds: Di Rocco won by technical knockout in round 9. At the end of May of the same year, he competed against Alexandre Lepelley from France ; this fight was also scheduled for 12 rounds. Di Rocco was considered a clear favorite and lived up to his role: He knocked Lepelley hard in the 8th round and thus defended his European title for the fourth time.
