Ragimund Reimesch

Ragimund Reimesch (born May 10, 1903 in Kronstadt , Transylvania , † May 21, 1980 in Seewalchen am Attersee , Upper Austria ) was an Austrian draftsman, painter , photojournalist and graphic artist .

Life

Ragimund Reimesch was a Transylvanian Saxon , his father Friedrich Reimesch was a teacher and writer. Many of his chalk drawings, linoleum and woodcuts were used in home books. He illustrated numerous books, often his brother Fritz Heinz Reimesch wrote the texts. In 1972 he was awarded the Transylvanian-Saxon Culture Prize.
