Rahmi Koç

Mustafa Rahmi Koç (* 1930 in Ankara ) is a Turkish entrepreneur .

Life

His father was the entrepreneur Vehbi Koç . He was the second of four children of the married couple Vehbi and Sadberk Koç. Koç graduated from primary school in Ankara. Koç attended secondary school at Robert College in Istanbul. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in the United States. From 1984 to 2003 he headed the Koç Holding company and then passed it on to his son Mustafa Koç († 2016). He founded the Rahmi M. Koç Museum in Istanbul . Koç is divorced and has three children.
