action

The game begins with a warning that a nuclear missile has been detonated in a Soviet city and is on its way to North America. At the beginning of the game, the player is in the hall in which there are American spaceships. He has to carefully fly at least one of them out of the hangar. The screen display changes and shows the earth from a low earth orbit. The player now controls the spaceship in the direction of the city from which the attack is coming. Alternatively, the player can decide to fly more available spaceships out of the hangar in order to park them in front of the hangar as replacement machines. Meanwhile, the time passed before the Russian missile hit.

Now the pilot tries to get through the enemy defensive lines with his spaceship and to fly around the numerous missile silos and avoid obstacles. When he reaches his goal, the screen view changes again. If the player loses his life on the way, the game starts again in the hangar, whereby the remaining time continues to pass. However, if the player has parked free space vehicles outside the space station, the game continues from where the player lost his last space ship.

The final part of this phase involves the destruction of the missile silo.

The Soviets launch two more missile attacks and all must be repulsed in the same way. After the third wave of attacks, the second part of the game begins.

In the second phase of the game, the pilots become foot soldiers who continue to fight in front of the facade of the Kremlin. With a mortar they have to blow up the correct door of five to get to the center of the facility. As soon as the door is open, the soldiers reach the path to the nuclear reactor and with it the last stage of the game.
