On June 29, 2017, 80.22% of the members of Raiffeisenbank Rottumtal eG voted for a merger with Raiffeisenbank Riss-Umlach eG. The members of Raiffeisenbank Riss-Umlach eG confirmed this plan at the general meeting on July 26, 2017 with 94%. The new Raiffeisenbank Biberach eG was created retroactively as of January 1, 2017. Several Raiffeisen banks had already merged in advance. Raiffeisenbank Warthausen eG laid the foundation stone on August 19, 1893.
