history
The Raiffeisenbank Oberstenfeld was founded on April 4, 1881 in the market town of Oberstenfeld with 1241 residents at the time as a loan association. The initiative to found it went back to the former mayor Pantle. It was founded on a cooperative basis, following the example of Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch (1808–1883), a pioneer of the German cooperative movement. In 1882 the cooperative joined the Association of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives in Württemberg with 112 members . In 1935 the cooperative was renamed to Spar- und Kreditkasse Oberstenfeld eGmbH and in 1959 it changed the form and name of the form of liability to Spar- und Loanhenskasse Oberstenfeld eGmbH. In 1961 this became the cooperative bank. Since 1969 it traded as Raiffeisenbank Oberstenfeld.
In 2016 , Raiffeisenbank Oberstenfeld merged with Volksbank Backnang .
