The former courtyard complex at Raiffeisenstrasse 2 (previously: Rathausplatz 7) in the Hirschlanden district of the city of Ditzingen , Ludwigsburg district , is a building that is protected under Section 2 DSchG BW .

history

The former farm in an exposed location in the center of the village probably goes back to one of the Hirschlander Urhöfe . The house and farm building were rebuilt in 1812 and are dated with inscriptions. With the relocation in the course of land consolidation , the centuries-old use as an agricultural enterprise ended. The last private owner sold the facility in 1959 to the Hirschlanden cooperative bank (later merged into Volksbank Ludwigsburg eG ), which renovated the farm in 1962 and converted it for its own purposes. In connection with the Hirschlander town center redevelopment, the property was reorganized. Demolition and rebuilding were also up for discussion. The local council finally campaigned for the partial preservation of the half-timbered ensemble that characterizes the townscape . In 1982/83 the former residential building was completely rebuilt and redesigned with a row of arcades facing the town hall square. Only the historical half-timbered gable remained of the original substance. The former barn was replaced by an apartment building adapted to the old building shapes.
