The RailAway AG is a subsidiary of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). As a leisure marketer, she mainly designs, organizes and sells trips to leisure activities using public transport .
history
On December 2, 1999, the SBB founded the rail tourism company RailAway AG , with the aim of promoting environmentally friendly transport and especially rail tourism. The first managing director, René Kamer, is still in office today. Four people formed the first staff. At the end of 2019 there were over 60.

Field of activity
RailAway is a leisure provider for day and multi-day trips with additional services in Switzerland for individual travelers and groups. As a tourism marketing organization, RailAway takes on the conception, purchasing, marketing and production for SBB and public transport.
