The Raildox GmbH & Co. KG (abbreviated Raildox ) is a registered private railway company (PSC), headquartered in Erfurt . The company's main focus is on regional and supra-regional rail freight transport . Further business areas are the training and further education of train drivers and wagon masters within the framework of RDX Personaldienstleistungen GmbH & Co KG.

history

In 2007 it was founded as a personnel service provider. In 2008, the company received a license as a public rail transport company for passenger and freight transport. On August 7, 2009, it received its safety certificate, which was valid until August 12, 2014 and, upon request, was extended from February 2014 on June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2022, and then began operations in nationwide freight transport.

As a railway company, Raildox is active throughout Germany and in cross-border traffic. Raildox has contracts with state and private railways around countries such as Poland , the Czech Republic , Austria , the Netherlands , Hungary or Switzerland that allow additional traffic.

Vehicle fleet

Raildox acquired the first locomotive 232 103-2 (built 1974) in 2010. This was followed by more modern locomotives such as TRAXX F140 AC2, TRAXX F140 DE and VOITH MAXIMA 40CC. The range also includes the V100 and V23 series locomotives.
