Staple fiber

In the textile industry , fibers with a length of less than 1000 mm are defined as staple fibers. A distinction is made between long staple fibers (shorter than 600 mm), medium staple fibers (shorter than 60 mm) and short staple fibers (shorter than 40 mm).
