The Swiss Railway Review (SER) is a railway specialist magazine that has been published by Minirex Verlag in Lucerne since 1978 .

Initially the magazine was published quarterly, the number of issues was increased to 5 issues per year in 1981 and 6 issues per year in 1984. Since 1990 a volume has comprised 11 issues and appears monthly, except in August. The August and September editions appear together as one issue. Some of the pages also appear in the sister magazines Eisenbahn-Revue International and Eisenbahn Österreich . Selected articles are also published in the English-language magazine Railway Update , which appears every two months. The publisher and editor-in-chief is Walter von Andrian. The 2008 edition was around 10,000, half of which were subscriptions .

About half of the magazine is devoted to Swiss topics; the other half of the reports relate to other European countries, with a focus on neighboring countries. Here, she is attested to having “a broad network of competent correspondents”. In it, "the work of the railways, the administration, the Federal Office of Transport and industry are critically questioned again and again."
