Raimond van der Gouw (born March 24, 1963 in Oldenzaal ) is a former Dutch football goalkeeper .

Career

Van der Gouw began his career in 1985 with the Go Ahead Eagles . In 1988 he moved to Vitesse Arnheim .

For the 1996/97 season he left Vitesse for Manchester United , where he was only second choice behind Peter Schmeichel , but still came to regular missions.

For the 2002/03 season he moved to West Ham United . There he was not used at all. A season later he moved back to his home country, to RKC Waalwijk . A season later he found a job at AGOVV Apeldoorn , where he ended his career in 2007. For the 2007/08 season he was hired as a goalkeeping coach at Sunderland FC . He has been a goalkeeping coach at Vitesse Arnheim since 2009.
