Raimundas Matulis
Raimundas Matulis (born November 22, 1966 in the district of Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian military pilot with the rank of colonel . From 2015 to 2017 he was head of the Lithuanian Military Academy General Jonas Žemaitis .
Life
Matulis graduated from Chelyabinsk College of Military Aviation in October 1989 and continued his education in the United States in 2001 .
From October 25, 2008, he was Assistant to the Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces , and from August 2013, Deputy Department Director in the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania . He was promoted to colonel on August 20, 2014. Until August 2015 he studied at the Defense College in London . From August 3, 2015, he headed Generolo Jono Žemaičio Lietuvos karo akademija .
Raimundas Matulis is married and has one daughter. In addition to his mother tongue, he speaks English , French and Russian .
