Raimundas Vaitiekus

Raimundas Vaitiekus (born January 2, 1971 in Pajūris , Šilalė Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician, district leader of Tauragė and vice-mayor of Šilalė.

Life

In 1994 he graduated from the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija with a degree in economics . From 2003 to 2007 he was the deputy mayor of the Šilalė district and from 2009 to 2010 he was the head of the Tauragė district and from 2010 an advisor to the prime minister. He has been a member of the Šilalė Council since 2011 .

From 1999 he was a member of the Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga and from 2003 the Liberalų ir centro sąjunga .

He is married. With his wife Sigita he has the son Ignas.
