Rainer Beeck (born August 9, 1962 in Munich ) was President of TSV 1860 Munich from 2008 to 2011 .

Career

After studying industrial engineering and business administration , Beeck began his career at Lufthansa in 1989 . After further professional positions at Treuhandliegenschaftsgesellschaft mbH, the German Bank Group and WestLB joined the German Diploma - Business Administration 1997 Flughafen München GmbH and is there as officer in charge of the "Commercial Activities".

Presidential office

On May 27, 2008, Beeck was elected President of TSV 1860 Munich by the Supervisory Board and thus Albrecht von Linde's successor . At the 40th Ordinary Assembly of Delegates on November 22, 2008, he was officially confirmed in office with 156 votes in favor, 16 against and 15 abstentions. After he was confirmed in office in November 2010 with 148 votes in favor, 11 against and 18 abstentions, he resigned from his honorary position as President at the beginning of 2011 for professional reasons. At the Supervisory Board meeting on February 7, 2011, he was replaced as President by Dieter Schneider .
