Rainer Degen

Rainer Degen (born March 27, 1941 in Wuppertal ; † June 23, 2010 in Munich ) was a German Semitist.

Rainer Degen was a lecturer in Semitic Studies at the University of Marburg and later head of the Institute for Semitic Studies at the University of Munich . In 2005 he retired .
