Rainer Hensen

Rainer Hensen (born June 5, 1961 in Heinsberg ) is a German chef.

Career

After training as a chef at the Hotel Jabusch in Geilenkirchen , Hensen completed a three-year apprenticeship as a baker. From 1982 to 1984 he was in the Bundeswehr .

Since 1986 he has been the patron of the Burgstuben Residenz in Heinsberg-Randerath . His gourmet restaurant St. Jacques has been awarded a Michelin star since 2002 and 17 Gault Millau points since 2012 .

In June 2016 he took part in the program "The Perfect Dinner".
