Rainer Maass

Rainer Maaß (born June 5, 1981 in Rostock ) is a German musical performer and music teacher.

Life

After completing his twelve-year school career in Rostock , Maaß studied elementary music education at the University of Mainz from 2001 to 2004 . At the same time, he began to take part in musicals and in 2002 was accepted into the youth club theater (JCT) of the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden . There he played in musicals such as Fame , Footloose, Copacabana and Rent in the following years .

In 2009 Maaß finally became a career changer in the big house, where he has since appeared on stage as Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My fair Lady and as Gremio and Lucentio in Kiss me, Kate . In the same year he was hired by the Meppen open-air theater as a guest actor for the role of Stephen in Copacabana and in 2010 as Nick Piazza in Fame - The Way to Fame.

In 2009 and 2010 Maaß played the title role in Musical! Kultur in Jekyll & Hyde (Siegen).

He currently stands in the State Theater in Wiesbaden as Seymour Krelbourn in Little Shop of Horrors , Bela Zangler in Crazy for You and Vernon Hines in The Pajama Game on the stage and is also available as Radames the Aida production the theater company Pinocchio'90 in Limburg an der Lahn to see.

Since 2003 Maaß has also been involved in the musical ensembles Sound of Musicals and Musical Tonight.
