Rainer Potschak (born May 6, 1950 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a former German football player .

Player career

Rainer Potschak began his professional career as a soccer player with the Stuttgarter Kickers , where he played from 1969 to 1977. The striker played a total of 162 games for the club in the 2nd Bundesliga and the then second-rate Regionalliga Süd , scoring 50 goals. In 1977 Potschak moved to Heidenheimer SB , where he ran again in the following two years before moving to VfR Aalen .
