Rainer Willeke
Rainer Willeke (born May 23, 1924 in Recklinghausen ; † May 26, 2018 ) was a German finance and transport scientist and university rector.
Rainer Willeke, son of the CDU politician Friedrich Wilhelm Willeke , held the professorship for political economics and transport science at the University of Cologne from 1961 to 1989 . From 1977 to 1979 he was rector of Cologne University.
Willeke died in 2018 three days after his 94th birthday and was buried in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne (hallway 26 (Y) No. 32b + 33).
