The Rajon Kamenka ( Russian Каменский район / Kamenski rajon : Romanian Raionul Camenca ) is the northernmost of the five Rajons of the internationally unrecognized state of Transnistria . It covers an area of ​​434.5 km² and has a population of almost 23,000 people. This makes it the smallest Rajon in the country in terms of population. The administrative capital is the spa town of Kamenka . The region is rural and comparatively sparsely populated.

In 2004 the population consisted of 47.8% Moldovans , 42.6% Ukrainians , 6.9% Russians and 1.6% Poles .
