Polatsk district
The Rajon Polotsk ( Belarusian раён Полацкі ; Russian Полоцкий район ) is an administrative unit in the Vitebsk Region in Belarus with the administrative center in the city of Polotsk . The Rajon has an area of 3140 km² and includes 405 villages.
geography
The Polatsk Rajon is located in the northern part of the Vitebskaya Woblasz. The Nachbarrajone are in the north Rassony , east Haradok , southeast Shumilina , south Uschatschy , southwest Hlybokaye , west Miory and northwest Verkhnyadzvinsk .

Polatsk Raion was formed on August 15, 1924.
