Rakebosten (Norwegian for shaving brush ) is a high mountain ridge with rock spurs branching off to the side in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Filchner Mountains of Orvinfjella , it forms the southern part of the Trollslottet .
Norwegian cartographers mapped the formation based on aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) and gave it a descriptive name.
