Ralf Flierl

Ralf Flierl (* 1965 near Regensburg ) is a German business journalist .

Career

After studying business administration, he first worked as an analyst for Jens Ehrhardt's Finanzwoche stock market letter . In 1999 he switched to GoingPublic Media, where he was, among other things, Head of Research and, as a spin-off, created the investor magazine Smart Investor in 2003 . Since then he has been editor-in-chief and also managing director of the publishing company Smart Investor Media , which has almost the same name .

When, in 2012, the operator of the Islamist online portal Muslim-Markt , Yavuz Özoguz , organized a trip to a private audience with Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadineschad , where Özoguz himself was accompanied by his wife Fatima, Jürgen Elsässer , Elias Davidsson , and the FDP state parliament candidate Claus Hübscher and Flierl participated, the visit was sharply criticized with regard to Ahmadineschad's denial of the Holocaust and Israel's right to exist as a legitimation of the Iranian regime of injustice.

He is married and has lived in Munich since 1986.
