Ralf Schottke (born June 20, 1955 in Lingen , Emsland ) is a German civil engineer and university professor .

Life

Ralf Schottke studied civil engineering at the University of Hanover , receiving his doctorate there in 1992. From 1993 to 2007, Schottke taught at the FH Neubrandenburg and the FH Hanover, from 2007 to 2011 at the Leuphana University Lüneburg . In 2010 he took over a professorship for construction management and construction law there. He is also head of the part-time Master's degree in Construction Law and Construction Management.

Schottke conducts research at the interface between construction technology, construction management and civil construction law. His specialty is claim management and alternative dispute resolution in the construction sector.

Since 1993 he has also been active as a party expert, arbitrator, arbitrator, gb expert, arbitrator and chairman of the contractual advisory board. He is also the director and organizer of the German Construction Operation and Construction Law Day.

Since 2010, a further area of ​​interest has developed in addition to the professional focus, which has its origin in the rediscovery of the Christian faith. This has resulted in a seminar which has an expanded way of thinking to more mechanistic ways of thinking. The seminar Spirituality and Science has been offered as a complementary course at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg for two years.
