Ralph Hüttig

Ralph Hüttig (born December 11, 1961 in Munich ) is a German theater director , actor , musician and performance artist .

Live and act

In the 1980s, Hüttig attended the private drama school at the Theater der Keller in Cologne . His appearances as an action artist at Art Cologne  with his own TV channel made him known to a larger audience. His radio talk shows with music recordings were also known in Belgium in the 1990s. In 1996 he moved from Cologne to Berlin , where he was jointly responsible for the cultural center at Ernst-Thälmann-Park in Prenzlauer Berg for twelve years . For a non-verbal theater project with the Thetra Pack theater company!  he received the "Prize against Racism and Xenophobia" from the Berlin Senate .

Until 2020, Hüttig worked as a director mainly in Berlin, for example at the Volksbühne Berlin on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz . Engagements at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne and the Neue Bühne Bruck in Fürstenfeldbruck are still part of his field of activity. In December 2019 he directed Effi Briest at the Neue Bühne Bruck .

Hüttig has lived near Munich since 2019.
