Ralph Metzger

Ralph Metzger (born August 17, 1972 ) is a former German basketball player .

career

The 1.98-meter-tall winger played in the youth of TV Langen and was appointed to the junior national team. He studied and played at Bellevue College in Washington State in 1992/93 . He then played for the second division TSV Speyer . During this time he made the leap into the German U22 national team. In 1995 he left Speyer to join TV Germania Trier in the basketball division . He won the DBB Cup in 1998 with the Moselans. In parallel to his work as a Bundesliga player, Metzger completed an economics degree at the University of Trier.

In 1999 he went to the second division club Eintracht Frankfurt and then devoted himself to his professional career in banking.
