Ralph Qno Kunze

Ralph Qno Kunze (born May 9, 1971 ) is a Dresden musician and painter .

In the 1990s, trumpeter and drummer Ralph Qno Kunze, together with bands such as Friends of Italian Opera , who were considered by many journalists to be the best and most innovative band in the new countries in the early 1990s, decisively shaped the image and perception of progressive independent music about Dresden and Germany Germany’s borders. Musical participation in well-known productions such as Wolfgang Engel's “Faust Trilogy” at the Dresden State Theater give an example of his presence.

As a painter, Kunze has been involved in the fine arts since 1992, combined with study visits to Georgia and South Africa . Kunze combines naive painting with the elements of Pop Art .

Since 2004 he has been the drummer of the electro - surf - trash duo Microwave and since 2005 he has been working with Rummelsnuff .
