Ramona Kühne (born January 31, 1980 in Berlin ) is a German professional boxer from Rangsdorf in Brandenburg . Until 2018 she was world champion in super featherweight according to the version of the WIBF , WBO and WBF . International lightweight champion of the WBA. She is a keynote speaker, nutritionist and personal coach

Professional boxes

Kühne has been world champion in three weight classes of the WIBF (light welterweight, lightweight and super featherweight). She is part of the SES ( Sport Events Steinforth ) stable . She is trained by her husband Stephan Kühne (née Böstfleisch). She made her professional debut on April 21, 2006 with a points win against Natalija Dolgowa.

She won her first title on October 13, 2007 in the light welterweight division (interime WIBF-WM) against the Spaniard Loli Muñoz, the second on May 17, 2008 against the Bulgarian Galina Iwanowa in a fight over ten rounds in the lightweight ( vacant WIBF-WM) . In November 2008 she defended her lightweight title against Dahiana Santana from the Dominican Republic. Then she rose to super featherweight.

In this weight class she won the vacant WIBF World Championship against the Kenyan Judy Waguthii unanimously on March 28, 2009 and defended the title almost three months later against the Bulgarian Galina Gjumlijska. On January 9, 2010, she boxed the first and only featherweight time; she tried to secure the WIBF, WBC and WBO world titles against Ina Menzer (25-0), but was taken out of the fight in the sixth round due to a badly bleeding cut injury. She officially lost to a technical knockout (tKo).

But already on June 4, 2010 she got the opportunity to fight for the world championship titles of the WIBF, WBF and WBO against the Dominican Maribel Santana and won by knockout in the fourth round. In Dresden she successfully defended her title on November 20, 2010 against the Bosnian Irma Balijagić-Adler and won unanimously on points. Also by scoring, she won on April 9, 2011 in Magdeburg against Arleta Krausová from the Czech Republic. On January 14, 2012, she defended her title in Offenburg against the Hungarian Renáta Dömsödi through tKo in the eighth round. After a serious knee injury, she was operated on in May 2012 and had to cancel her defense of the title, which was scheduled for July 2012.

On March 2, 2013, she beat the Brazilian Halanna Dos Santos unanimously on points and defended her title for the fourth time in a row. On December 6, 2013 she defeated the Hungarian Renáta Dömsödi again in Frankfurt (Oder) by tKo in the sixth round. This was the fifth time in a row that she defended her title. On 28 March 2014, it defeated in Potsdam until then unbeaten Hungarian Gina Chamie by TKO in the seventh round and defended her title for the sixth time. On August 1, 2015, she beat Austrian Doris Köhler on points in an 8-round match in Potsdam in a comeback fight after another knee injury.

Kickboxing

She was a member of the German national kickboxing team, multiple Berlin and Brandenburg champion and German champion. She won 46 out of 51 fights.

Amateur boxing
