The Ramsjøhytta is a self-service hut of the Norwegian Trekking Association in the central Norwegian municipality of Tydal in Trøndelag . The hut dates back to 1957 and has been in its current form since 1984. The hut is named after the lake Ramsjøn on which it was built. It is located directly at the outflow of the lake. The lake can be iced into June. The next peak is the Fongen, which you can go on day trips. The way there is not marked.

The property consists of two buildings, a residential building and a building with a woodshed, toilet and another bedroom. The residential building consists of a large lounge and several bedrooms. There are a total of 24 beds, five rooms with four beds each and two rooms with two beds. If necessary, six more people can sleep on the benches in the lounge. Like all self-service huts, Ramsjøhytta has a provisions store and cooking facilities with a fully equipped kitchen. The water is supplied via the lake, the hut is not connected to the electricity network.

The next road is approx. 5 km away, the next bus stop approx. 20 km, to Schulzhytta in the middle of the mountains it is approx. 15 km. The surrounding area is partly boggy. In summer it happens that herds of reindeer come up to the hut.

Two marked hiking trails lead from the hut to Schulzhytta and Storerikvolle , both of which are managed huts. The path to Græslihytta is not marked but is accessible .
