Zéphyrin Toé

Zéphyrin Toé (born December 30, 1928 in Toma , Burkina Faso , † November 25, 2013 in Albacete , Spain ) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Dédougou .

Life

On April 6, 1958, Zéphyrin Toé was ordained a priest for the diocese of Nouna .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on July 5, 1973 Bishop of Nouna-Dédougou. The Archbishop of Ouagadougou Paul Cardinal Zoungrana MAfr donated him episcopal ordination on November 25th of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Jean-Marie Lesourd MAfr, Bishop Emeritus of Nouna, and Eugène Abissa Kwaku , Bishop of Abengourou .

On April 14, 2000, he was appointed Bishop of Dédougou by Pope John Paul II . On June 4, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.

He died in the priestly house in Albacete , Spain ; the diocese of Albacete and the diocese of Dédougou are linked in partnership.
