The Bistum Abengourou ( lat. : Dioecesis Abenguruensis ) is in the Ivory Coast preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Abengourou .

history

The diocese Abengourou was on September 13, 1963 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Sacrum Consilium from cedings of the dioceses Bouaké and Katiola and the Archdiocese of Abidjan . On July 3, 1987, the Abengourou diocese gave parts of its territory to establish the Bondoukou diocese .

The Diocese of Abengourou is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Bouaké as a suffragan .
