Ran Yunfei
Ran Yunfei ( Chinese 冉雲飛 / 冉云飞 , Pinyin Rǎn Yúnfēi ; born April 13, 1965 in Youyang , Chongqing ) is a Chinese author , blogger , civil rights activist and signatory of Charter 08 . He belongs to the Tu minority .
Arrest and release
He was arrested on February 20, 2011 for participating in the peaceful protests in China . He was released on August 10, 2011, but is under house arrest in Chengdu , where he lives .
